BBVA Bancomer today announced the placement of a primary public offering by Fibra Uno Administración, S.A. de C.V., for a total of MXN 22,050,000,000 (twenty-two billion fifty million pesos) on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

Demand exceeded the placement by 3 times, and more than 170 domestic and international institutional investors bid on the offering.

The breakdown of the global offering was as follows: 60% international, 40% local, and the retail segment took up 22% of the allotment.

This is the third placement by Fibra Uno on the market since March 2011, and it is the second largest public offering in the history of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

Through its involvement in this transaction, BBVA Bancomer further strengthened its capacities in equity issuance transactions in the Mexican real-estate sector, after the CKD issued by Mexico Retail Properties (MRP) and the public offering of Fibra Hotel and Macquarie in 2012.
