Almost 100 institutional clients attended the latest edition of the of the Latin American issuer conference arranged by BBVA in New York on 9 and 10 May.

During the sessions organised, clients - both issuers and investors - looked at the current market situation and opportunities for investment in the region. Almost 100 bilateral meetings were held during which the companies present had the opportunity to set out their future strategies and their financing plans for the coming months.

The conference was opened by Antonio Ordás, Head of BBVA Global Markets, who underscored the excellent current conditions in Latin America, where the macro situation is stable and investors have unique opportunities for investment.
