BBVA Colombia and BBVA Provincial in Venezuela have obtained the top spot in Euromoney's annual Cash Management Survey carried out globally among non-financial companies and financial institutions.

This is the second year running BBVA has topped the survey in Venezuela while in Colombia the bank has obtained the top spot for the first time, moving up from the third place it obtained in 2012.   Also noteworthy are the good results awarded to Spain, Mexico and Peru where BBVA ranked third.

Considered the benchmark survey for the global cash management industry, this year's survey recorded an 18% year-on-year rise in valid responses, pushing total responses to a new record high of 24,442. Leading cash managers, treasurers and financial officers worldwide are asked to indicate which three banks they use most for their cash management services and to rate their lead cash manager across various service categories. 

With this accolade, BBVA further cements its leading position as a provider of cash management services.
