The third edition of the conference organized by the Institutional Client Group team was held in Madrid on June 18.

It was attended by more than 100 participants representing over 50 international financial institutions, including risk managers, country managers and teams of bankers from institutions covered by the ICG team.

The conference addressed key topics of interest in the sector such as the macroeconomic outlook in developed countries versus emerging economies, the digital transformation of financial institutions and the impact of regulatory changes on capital and liquidity. The event also served to offer a broad perspective of the BBVA Group, as well as its strengths and leading position in the various markets in which it is present.

The event featured addresses by Leda Glyptis, Director of Global Innovation for EMEA of BNY Mellon; Graham Kellen, Head of Distribution, Corporate & Digital Services IT of Schroders; and Ali Fuat Erbil, Head of Financial Institutions & Corporate Banking of Garanti.

There were also speakers from the bank's management, such as Jaime Saénz de Tejada,CFO; Juan Asúa, Head of Corporate & Investment Banking; Jorge Sicilia,Head of the Research and Strategies Service; Alejandro Cuadrado, Head of FX and Strategy for Latam at BBVA Global Markets Research; and Mark Jamison, former Global Head of Customer Solutions.
