The BBVA CIB team has taken part in the 24th edition of the International Cash and Treasury Management conference organized by the Eurofinance Group, which was held from September 23 to 25 in Copenhagen. This forum brings together professionals from the banking sector, mostly CEOs, CFOs, COOs and Treasury, Cash Management and Asset Management managers, with the aim of assessing and finding out about new solutions, tools and trends in the sector.

BBVA had a stand where many meetings were held with clients with a view to reinforcing relationships with global corporations and increasing business opportunities for the Transactional Banking and Cash Management teams.

BBVA CIB was represented by product specialists from different departments: Global Transaction Services, Global Sales Europe, Transaction Banking Europe, Global Client Coverage, Corporate Clients UK, France and Germany, International Transaction Services and Trade Finance.

643 entities took part in the forum, of which over 58% were international corporations, along with 1,900 attendees from more than 48 countries. The conference agenda included names as relevant as José Manuel Durão Barroso, former President of the European Commission and former prime minister of Portugal, and Zanny Minton Beddoes, editor-in-chief of The Economist.

The more than 75 sessions, in which over 130 speakers took part, addressed key topics of interest in the sector such as the macroeconomic outlook in developed countries versus emerging economies, the digital transformation of financial institutions and the impact of regulatory changes on capital and liquidity.

With this event, BBVA offered a broad perspective of its strengths and leading position in the various markets in which it is present.
