BBVA Bancomer successfully completes the placement of a primary public offering by Fibra Hotel on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV)May 31, 2013
Acting as Global Coordinator, the financial group continues strengthening the capital market

BBVA Bancomer today announced the placement of a public offering by Fibra Hotel Concentradora Fibra Hotelera Mexicana S.A de C.V., for a total amount of MXN4.88bn, on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).
Demand from interested investors was nearly six times greater than the amount offered. Approximately 3,115 investors bid on the instruments, 3,093 of which were equity banking clients and 25 were Mexican institutions.
The global offering was distributed equally between domestic and foreign investors.
This is the second follow-on by a FIBRA in less than six months, and with it, BBVA Bancomer underscores its leadership in equity market placements and its commitment to supporting economic development in Mexico.
BBVA Bancomer's Executive Director of Equity Capital Markets, Ruy Halffter, remarked that "this important transaction enables BBVA Bancomer to continue strengthening the capital market and real-estate sector in Mexico." He acknowledged the trust placed in the institution to coordinate this offering and the interest investors have shown in the future of the capital market and in productive sectors like tourism and services.
Fibra Hotel is a Mexican trust incorporated primarily for the purpose of developing, acquiring and owning urban business hotels offering limited, select and full-service lodging as well as prolonged-stay services in Mexico. It is the first lodging FIBRA to be listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) and owns one of the largest hotel portfolios in Mexico. It was also one of the first lodging-related real-estate investment trusts in Latin America.
