Confirming its successful track record, BBVA has been recognized by numerous international trade media as the best structured products house in Latin America in 2015.
The BBVA Group has been awarded a prize on three occasions at the Americas Structured Products & Derivatives Awards 2015, receiving the Best House Latin America, Best House Mexico and Best House Currencies awards. The Structured Products Americas Awards, organized by the specialized magazine Risk, have recognized BBVA as Latin America House of the Year for the third year in a row. BBVA has also won the Global Capital Derivatives Awards 2015 organized by the trade media Global Capital, which recognizes the BBVA Group's activity with this type of products.
Lastly, BBVA has received a prize at the MTN-i Americas Awards for two deals completed last year. BBVA Group obtained the Landmark Deal 2014 award in recognition of an innovative product in the region, an Inflation Adjusted RMBS-Linked Note. In the 2015 edition, BBVA received the Deal of the Year 2015 award for the issue of a Bond-Linked Switchable Note that offers clients an attractive product in the current interest rate environment.
These awards confirm BBVA's capabilities in Latin America and highlight its offering, with highly competitive prices in its quanto structured products (with no exchange-rate risk) on a wide range of underlying assets.
