BBVA Advises Fibra Soma in Its Capital Raising Process

Fibra Soma strengthens its capital structure through a private placement of convertible bonds and a rights offering totaling MXN 10.5 billion, with the support of BBVA.







BBVA congratulates Fibra Soma on the partial closing of its private placement of convertible bonds and rights offering, raising MXN 10.5 billion to date on the Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA).

The proceeds will reinforce Fibra Soma’s capital structure, bolstering its growth strategy and consolidation as one of Mexico’s leading premium real estate players. This transaction underscores market confidence in the trust’s financial strength, integrated business model, and long-term vision.

In this transaction, BBVA acted as Financial Advisor and Structuring Agent, reaffirming its leadership in developing innovative financing solutions that foster the growth and dynamism of Mexico’s capital markets.

Fibra Soma is a fully integrated Mexican real estate investment trust focused on iconic, high-quality, and geographically diversified assets located in key cities across the country. Listed on the Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA) since 2021, the trust owns 13 properties encompassing over 836,000 square meters of gross leasable area, including landmark developments such as Antara and Reforma Colón, among others.
