BBVA México leads MXN 500 million Certificados Bursátiles issuance for Fibra Storage

BBVA México acted as Sole Bookrunner in the successful MXN 500 million Certificados Bursátiles offering by Fibra Storage. Proceeds from the transaction will be used to develop, build and expand the trust’s existing portfolio of properties, as well as to acquire new sites where self-storage facilities will be developed, constructed, and operated.

Fibra Storage is Mexico’s first investment trust specialized in the self-storage sector and remains the country’s only institutional platform dedicated to this industry.

The issuance was structured in a single variable-rate tranche with a five-year tenor, priced at TIIE de Fondeo plus 180 basis points. The notes were rated “AA-(mex)” by Fitch Ratings and “HR AA+” by HR Ratings, underscoring market confidence in the company’s financial strength.

BBVA México congratulates Fibra Storage on this important milestone, which reinforces its growth strategy in a sector with strong potential in Mexico, and thanks the company for its trust in BBVA to lead the transaction as Sole Bookrunner.
