BBVA Mexico acts as Sole Bookrunner in Fibra Danhos’ MXN 2.1 billion CEBURES issuance

The proceeds will be used to refinance liabilities, strengthening the issuer’s financial structure.

BBVA Mexico acted as Sole Bookrunner in Fibra Danhos’ issuance of Stock Certificates (Certificados Bursátiles) for an amount of MXN 2.1 billion. The transaction was executed through two tranches with maturities of five and six years, achieving pricing of 120 bps and 125 bps over the corresponding M-Bond curve. The issuance was labelled as sustainable, as it includes the objective of obtaining LEED Core and Shell (BD+C) Gold and/or Platinum certification for at least 23% of the total gross leasable area by 2029, reflecting Fibra Danhos’ commitment to its ESG strategy.

The issuance received ratings of “AAA(mex)” from Fitch Ratings and “AAA” from HR Ratings, reflecting the credit quality of the transaction and market confidence in the company’s financial fundamentals.

According to Álvaro Vaqueiro Ussel, Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at BBVA Mexico, “This transaction represents an efficient alternative for accessing the local debt market, enabling Fibra Danhos to strengthen its financial structure and optimise its maturity profile through the refinancing of liabilities.”

Fibra Danhos is a Mexican trust established primarily to develop, lease, operate and acquire iconic, premier-quality real estate assets in Mexico. It has a presence in four states across the country, mainly in Mexico City, as well as the State of Mexico, Puebla and Quintana Roo.

BBVA Mexico’s participation as Sole Bookrunner reaffirms its leadership in the capital markets and its ability to support companies and institutions in executing transactions that contribute to strengthening their long-term financial strategies.

This transaction adds to the recent transactions in which BBVA Mexico has participated to support its clients’ financing needs, offering alternatives aligned with their growth objectives, financial efficiency and long-term sustainability goals.
